Eko, as most others call him, grew up on the North-Side of Minneapolis, MN. Things weren't the best growing up for him which landed him in multiple dangerous situations, psychiatric wards, rehabilitation and even incarceration. Through all that, Eko kept his face in his journal as a way to cope with the difficult environment around him. He expresses his personal life, feelings and creativity through his music. He makes music because he loves it and it's always been something that he's done and loves. His music can be edgy and vulgar but with his honesty and authentic personality his music tells a story or his opinion on his perspective of the world he lives in. "As an artist, when you have passion for your music, your love for it will make you successful. Just push at it, you'll feel more rewarded when others love what you do." These are the words he stands by strongly.
