Hello all, I am an instrumental songwriter and home recording enthusiast. My weapons of choice are Bass guitar and Acoustic guitar. I am experienced in rock, metal, funk and as of late, I love writing instrumental acoustic guitar based grooves with catchy bass lines. My other project is a co-writing, 2 person partnership called "Groovecho". We have released 4 instrumental albums, the most recent in May 2024. They are available on multiple streaming platforms. I also will post some songs from my former band Head. We were of a mix of heavy leaning funk and jam band. The album is called "Practically Live" as we recorded the vast majority of it live in the studio. Although it was recorded in 1999, I feel these songs are still relevant and deserve to be heard. Hi all, our fourth instrumental album "Atmospheres" by Groovecho was finalized and released yesterday on all streaming platforms. Here is a single from it, the heavier side of Groovecho. In The Pocket
Here's a funky jam track for you from back in the day, recorded live in the studio in 1999. I played the bass on this album by Head, and while recording it, I couldn't see the drummer or the singer/flutist as they were in different rooms in the house, which was renovated to a recording studio. It was all played live (minus backing vocals) with monitor headphones with no re-do's of tracks and no metronomes. Was a challenge but the result has a very human feel to it, warts and all. "Practically Live" is a 12 Track album, recorded in 2 days. Fun times. Hope you enjoy and thanks for checking it out! more
